He has had the pleasure of learning the traditional art of pizza craftsmanship taught by his grandfather Carmelo Pillitteri in Palermo, Sicily as a child in the late 1960’s. Giovanni has become the UK’s national pizza consultant, providing training and specialist knowledge to Hotels, restaurants and pizzeria’s across the UK and internationally.
All new clients of Dough ball pizza are offered a free consultation by Giovanni as part of our commitment to you. Additional training can be provided to employees at all levels and experience in the industry. Giovanni is licensed to many restaurants and hotels which he regularly audits their service levels and product standards. This ensures that each business provides minimum standards and strict pizza quality.
